Quilting & Piecing

I have been quilting, on and off, since the 80’s. I love that quilting is economical and eco-friendly, as it allows me to use old cast-off scraps of fabric, from my other sewing projects. I can use pre-made patterns, but I most enjoy creating my own. 

My focus, right now, is creating customized art quilts that can be hung on a wall. I would love to create quilted costumes or clothing, as well. So, please keep me in mind if you need help with those kinds of projects.

I have made several small art quilts to hang up, and have ideas for several more, from my own designs or from patterns.

The dark velvet and silk jacket is quilted and lined, with bead embellishments.

I made the Easter quilt as a gift for my daughter. It was made with mostly applique, with echo quilting and free-motion meander quilting.
